Nice lil secret, great European atmosphere! Food takes a while but be patient, it's worth it! French toast breakfast was amazing! Can't wait to bring the wife here!

Nice french decor but service is slow. Think they're on european time. I had the turkey croissant n french onion soup. Soup was good but sandwich was average.

Great bread, croissants, desserts. Shrimp Persillade makes a light dinner; beef bourguignon good for more hearty fare. Omelettes are perfect. It's all so good, so French. Wonderful brunches...mon dieu! And all to backdrop of lovely French music--who knows and who cares what the lyrics meant?! If you go for dinner, go early as they close early!

Food was good. Fast food feel while ordering, but casual French Restaurant feel once the food hits your table. French Onion soup was good, you can't go wrong with carmelized onions and cheese :)

My first day in Colorado Springs, I came here to eat lunch. The french onion soup was the highlight of my meal. It was really good. The sandwiches looked really tasty too. I noticed they get a lot of customers and their bread was selling out fast. I also got a chocolate croissant...really great as a quick breakfast. One thing I didn't enjoy, which is why I am giving this place 4 stars, was that their bread they serve with the soup is really hard on the outside. Maybe this is the type of bread, because once you try to crack it open the bread inside is really soft and delicious. It's just really messy trying to rip pieces of the bread apart because of the hard outer crust.

I first went to this place a couple years ago for a Sunday brunch- I had the egg's Benedict. It was crazy good- the best I have ever- the puff pastry that contained the eggs and hollandaise sauce was mouth watering. Served with fresh fruit was the cherry on top! I went again just recently and can't remember why I didn't go more often. Love love love the breakfast's here. Not only the egg's Benedict, but the omelets are scrumptious as well- I got the Denver. Served with French bread/roll and fresh fruit! When you go in, you order right at the counter and they give you a number- to which in about 15 minutes they will bring your meal. Everything else is do-it yourself service. I hear excellent things about the lunch's here- especially the French onion soup- but I haven't had a chance to try them yet, next time.

If you haven't had the French onion soup here... You have not lived! So yummy! Their salads and pastries are also divine!

This place is actually called La Tartine now: yelp.com/biz/la-tartine-… So, if you're looking for La Baguette and can't find it, go in to La Tartine anyways. I never visited it when it was La Baguette, but I have been to the La Baguette in OCC and it's very similar (if not the same--not sure what their relationship is). I can't tell that much is different other than the name. My husband and I go up for breakfast on the weekends and everything is always fantastic. You can check out my review on the La Tartine site.

The best onion soup I've ever had! We've been coming here, or to the Old Colorado City location, for 21 years. It is a favorite of our out of town visitors too. A true Colorado Springs gem.
